Pros: Central location, great customer service, accommodating for early check-in, clean, nice restaurant/bar area Cons: Rooms are very small with very low ceilings and one small window. We were in a standard 2-queen, room 723, with 2 adults and 2 children. There is so little floor space that you'll want to plan to use one of the beds for all belongings to keep it as clear as possible just to be able to move around comfortably. There is a small closet that bumps out into the already small entryway area, making that area very congested as well. I don't see a lot of mention of room size in other reviews and the windows look much larger in some of the photos of rooms, so perhaps we were in one of the smallest room types they have. The only seating in our room was an upholstered side chair with wooden arms, and it was awkwardly lodged tightly between the bed and the wall, because that was the only place it fit. The window in our room was small and quite dusty and dirty - both the glass and the frame. There is no screen on the windows and it opens up fairly low to the floor, which is odd. Everything else about this hotel was fine and they are clearly doing the best they can within the limitations of the age/design of the building. Realistically, the rooms were a dealbreaker for us for future stays considering other options.
We had our rehearsal dinner and room block here for our wedding in September and it was great! There were lots of other wedding parties there but we still felt welcomed and the staff and service was fantastic. Rooms were sunny and clean, event crew was professional and friendly. My only complaint is the valet/parking is a little hectic, and a 'room block' does not mean all the rooms are actually together - though it seems like most places are doing it that way these days. Not having a 2 night minimum was also super helpful and made a lot of guests really happy. Would recommend for wedding or event!
Ended up staying at this location due to what concert nearby from the moment we got the staff was friendly and delightful to deal with. They help me with all my questions telling me where to go what I needed to see and what we could do the room was clean and you could tell care was taken when they made up that bed and the room at night my phone had died so I couldn’t get my electronic key. Go to the went to the front desk and in the process of trying to make me up a new key the poor guy behind the desk computer went down. He gave me his charger for my phone so we could charge up my phone enough to get back into the room, it was an ideal experience but it wasn’t his fault. The computer went down and he made the best of it. We will be back. Should we ever be in the area again.
Everyone was very friendly, rooms clean and well kept. No complimentary or continental breakfast. Valet parking personnel were very helpful and accommodating for my large vehicle, but one of them smoked in it once which was quite disappointing. Heating was quite noisy in the room. Had a corner room which was spacious and included a couch along with the usual desk and chair.
First time visiting this location. The front desk staff was very friendly and recognized my status. They upgraded me to a corner suite (Thank you) This was bigger than just a corner room. Double bathrooms. Large living room. Little dinner table. It was great. Room was clean. Plenty of water pressure. Hot and cold. No issues with the temp of the room. Did not get to try the restaurant for dinner or breakfast. Parking is valet only. But it was quick and friendly. I will stay here again
