This is a perfectly fine, newer, clean, and spacious hotel. The check in process was very slow (maybe a new/trainee person on duty?) and the exterior walls let in a bit of outside noise. However, overall, I had a good experience here.
I definitely will not be recommending this place to no one. I hope once they finish remodeling a few things get better. First off the lied ON-LINE it said nothing about under construction or hot tub out of order!! THE ONLY REASON my wife chose this hotel seemed like a decent price with a pool/hot tub. Nope there's yellow tape around it and even the sauna doesn't work. They don't know why. Breakfast is a shame, scrambled eggs, bacon, & potato cubes. Anything else u have to order from there in house over priced Grill. Never again nothing seemed worth the price of the name Sheraton!
The room was clean and spacious, however the bathroom had a very strong chemical/plastic smell and the heater was so loud that I was unable to have a conversation with it running, let alone sleep. I booked here primarily for the hot tub, which was not operational. Was woken up by housekeeping knocking on the door at 7 am our first morning.
Used to work there. Management severely undertrained or blatantly dismissive. Either way, no. Rambunctious, loud weddings were held almost every weekend with guests stealing things from other guests or even workers. 1 time it happened, waitresses and bartenders pooled their tips to give to server who lost theirs; management did not compensate/investigate incident. Used to bartend, alone, during the weddings. Help was never there and I was expected to take on my previous managers duty’s for less than half the pay. Quit on the spot, never got a call or text asking if I was alright or anything. When you check into the hotel, as a customer, you’re highly urged to give reviews (probably compensated as well for how poorly everything is run). Hopefully Alex is gone, it sounds like it. Marco seems wonderful. A position was made for me, by the owner himself (restaurant supervisor), and I was left to my own devices. I was promised further management training, got none. I was promised a “helper” at the bar, didn’t get one. I was promised a lot from that job and 90% went undelivered. I could honestly go on for an hour, but I won’t. Don’t stay there, don’t work there.
The staff is absolutely amazing, Jimmy, Danielle, the guys at the front desk, everyone is awesome. Food is really good, for certain meats I would suggest talking to Danielle. I've been here during the week, every other week for about 8 weeks. The vibes with my coworkers, the staff, and the others at the bar have been fantasic!
