Perfect! This Embassy Suites was spot on the rooms were clean, plenty of hot water, and well appointed. The only thing we did not like about the rooms was the way that the doors are so heavy that when they shut anywhere near you, you hear it in your room. That is not the hotels fault that is definitely a design flaw that we have found in most Embassy Suites! The front desk staff was very nice. You should note that this is a card only/no cash property. Everything you need needs to be on some sort of credit or debit card. This is for the safety of the staff as well as the guest, and I have to say I really liked it that way. The evening reception, although I do not drink, was really nice. They had all sorts of snacks, soft drinks, coffee, and I believe two drinks on the house. They seem to have a nice turn out and you got to sit in the dining area and socialize. The lighting and the decorations are really beautiful, the staff was very accommodating., overall it was an enjoyable experience. The breakfast buffets were Embassy Suites. You have breakfast items that are simple and you can grab and go like cereal and fruit, they had pastries and really good pumpkin bread, made to order omelettes, tons of fresh fruit – did I mention the fruit! And other items that you would expect. The coffee and tea selections were full and the staff were very welcoming. The main lobby is really done well and is a nice place to just sit and relax. During the day we found people sitting and working on their computer, one lady was working on a painting project that she was doing while her husband was attending a conference there, there was even a wedding going on one night and we didn’t hear a thing in our room. The parking was a little tight, but we didn’t have problems finding a spot. The grounds were nice and they were plenty of places for my daughter to walk her service dog. It was also well late in the evening, which was a bonus. The grounds were clean, and it seemed like there was always someone outside, working on the plants, the trees, and making sure that there was no trash. The entire place was handicap accessible, although we did not use the pool, we did stick our heads in and it was clean and well stocked with fresh towels.
I stayed for a night before my long drive in the morning. The hotel is well kept. The parking lot is well lit at night time. I met a friendly person who greeted and welcomed me with a smile, even if it was past midnight. My room was clean and clean. Although, I couldn't adjust the room temperature. The AC was blowing cold air, but not cold enough for me. But the bed, pillows, and linen were comfortable. I wasn't able to sit down for breakfast due to a tight schedule. But I grabbed a cup of coffee. They do cook omelet for you, to your liking.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport - A Disappointing Stay Overall Rating: 1 out of 5 stars I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport and was very disappointed with my experience. The hotel is in dire need of an update, as the rooms are dated and worn. The cleanliness of the hotel was also a major concern, as I found a pill on the bathroom floor that was covered in dirt and hair. Additionally, there was no body wash in the shower, and it seemed like the staff was not very attentive to upkeep. I had to personally contact Yolanda Gainey three times to get my problems addressed. While she was apologetic and sent people to fix the issues, I was not satisfied with the overall response from the staff. It was clear that the staff was not very concerned about the problems I was experiencing. Yolanda Gainey had to escort her staff up to my room to remove the prescription medicine from my bathroom floor. In addition to the issues with the hotel itself, I also had a negative experience with the hotel van driver. On my way to the hotel, he ran me off the road. He then attempted to do the same thing again in the hotel parking lot. They on insisted on parking the van in the middle of the walkway instead of the reserved parking spot they have designated for it. They would rather make guests walk on mulch instead of the walkway so they can park their van right out front. Overall, I would not recommend staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport. There are much better hotels in the area that offer a more pleasant and comfortable experience.
Booked hotel for a 2 night stay. Easy checkin. The complimentary breakfast, snacks, and drinks are amazing. The staff is so efficient at breakfast with making sure things are stocked and clearing tables. We loved Jose at the snacks in the evening he was so friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Definitely will return!
The location of the hotel is close to the airport which was the reason we stayed here. Breakfast was good especially the Omelette that was made by a nice lady. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, but the carpet was sticky! Which is the only reason the full star rating wasn’t given.
