Great location! Very quiet. The building is historical and beautiful with original floors, stairs, copper ballisters and a portion of ceiling from the 1800s. Our room was large with high ceilings. The view was...well, there was no view. Staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. The on-site restaurant, The Social, is quite cozy, the food maybe 3 stars.
Well my stay isn’t quite up lol I just got here. Greeted by the bellman outside. The lady at the front desk was also super helpful and informative of the way breakfast works. Went upstairs to leave my bags & came down for drinks and food. Alyssa is amazing at the bar. She ran out of grapefruit juice for my margarita so she just put it on the house. That was super nice of her. This hotel has a great atmosphere and very welcoming. Will stay here again if I ever come back in town.
Beautiful, renovated old building. Wonderful person working on the front desk. Clean room, comfortable bed. The only odd experience was the cleaning lady knocking at the door in the morning (9:20am) and asking "what time are you leaving?".
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Excellent check-in, received an nice surprise upgrade, room was fantastic, comfortable, and spotless. Common areas are beautiful, as well. The location is perfect for many entertainment and sports destinations in town. Parking was easy, too. We will definitely return.
This is not your average Hilton Garden Inn! Downtown Milwaukee, in the historic 'Loyalty Building' built 1886, with this stunning and really unique staircase and beautiful light-filled atrium. My room, on the south side of the building, had a great bird's-eye view of the historic Mackie building across the street. The room was comfortable, and the staff at 'the Social' were polite and welcoming.
