I would say the bartender Zeke was amazing. He was the nicest guy I have ever met.He was not only great at taking the order in a timely manner, but also really took the time to get to know the customer. He really makes you feel like you are a valued customer. He is an all-star take care of him. Thanks Zeke wish you nothing but the best! It was good.
This is a nice property. The hotel sits on the bank of a river in a quiet setting. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The site was in good condition, well equipped and inviting. The breakfast was adequately supplied with fresh foods. The choices were what you would normally expect to see at a Holiday Inn. My experience was good. I would recommend this property if you are visiting the area.
My wife and I have stayed here a few times. It's clean, the rooms are nice and the beds are comfy. I've become a bit concerned about the parking lot. We stayed here on Saturday night while visiting our son at UWM. we woke up on Sunday Morning greeted by police officers who were called because 20 or so guest vehicles had there windows smashed in. If overnight security could be improved, I will consider coming again. But for now, I think we'll be using another hotel.
They are terribly understaffed. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, on at least 3 separate shifts there was only 1 person on staff, once during the day. Both nights that I stayed there I was abruptly awaken very early in the morning by the hotels fire alarm. The first morning the alarm was going off for about 30 minutes starting around 7:15a.m., they turned it off for about 10 minutes before it started going off again for about another 20 minutes. The second morning the fire alarm started going off somewhere around 5:30a.m for about 15 minutes. After that the alarm went off several more times. After all of this, I was offered a $50.00 refund from the manager for not having a peaceful or relaxing stay. I'm surprised she was authorized to offer such a huge financial compensation, especially considering that I spent over $300.00 at this establishment. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!! The refrigerator was dirty when I checked in.
Stayed one night on a family trip. Hotel packed to capacity; loud partying all night and two fire alarms between 6:30 and 7:30 am. Horrible ventilation and distinct chloramine smell in pool = don’t swim in there. Twelve people in a hot tub designed for 6, kids all over the exercise room. No menu to order from for breakfast as with other Holiday Inn properties, just a hastily put together buffet with cold food and a $16 price tag. Staff was friendly and room was clean, but there are better choices in the area for not a lot more money. Large groups tend to take over Holiday Inn properties more and more on weekends; this seems to be happening throughout the chain.
