Probably the worst Hyatt I've ever stayed at. This is not on par for a Hyatt. Super old mattress with springs that are so worn out. The comforter not even in a duvet. And my bed sheet was even stained! The whole place smelled musty. Felt more like I was staying in a cheap motel. Definitely will not be coming back here.
The rooms are always nice and clean. Just started serving breakfast again, left a lot to be desired. One poor young man trying his best to keep up with making eggs, coffee, etc.
Venue looks nice and the rooms are sizeable but the bedding was some of the worst I've ever slept on. In addition to that the ac unit sounded like it was vibrating off the wall. The blinds wouldn't close all the way and the street light was shining into the bedroom.
Cleanliness was an issue. Found body hair on shower walls, hairs in the sheets and towels and stains on furniture and carpet. Went down to front desk to request refresh of towels and bed and the woman just nodded without any eye contact at all. I returned later in the day to nothing done in my room and went back down to the front desk to report it again, to where I was told they would address it the following day, only for it still not to be done. “They were supposed to do it” was the answer I got when returning to the front desk. I worked for the Hyatt years ago and can clearly tell that this isn’t actually a property managed by Hyatt as the customer service and overall experience doesn’t come close to Hyatt standard. Will not return again as this hotel was the worst part of my trip.
Front desk attendant was very nice and got me checked in promptly but other than that not a great experience. First my room had what looked like pizza sauce on the carpet. I’m not sure how the cleaning staff missed it since it was just inside the door. Next the room smelled like it had been a smoking room in the past and had been converted to non-smoking since there was just enough of a hint of the smell of cigarettes. The bed lacked support and I sunk right in. Although not the hotels fault, someone’s car alarm started going off at 5:15am, then again at 5:30am, and then a third time around 5:45am. To the hotels credit they had called security and they were on-site dealing with it when I checked out around 6:15am.
