Linda aims to please her patrons! Lots of fun things to do. Play a game, have a brew, or Tavern League party for "tour de county" drawing! I did not win today, but had lots of fun!
First visit. Food was good, but the service has alot to be desired. We were not greeted when entered. Our waitress was not attentive...never checking on us or if we needed anything. I asked for a lemonade and she seemed to forget so had to wave her down again and ask for my drink. By then I was thirsty after the appetizer so asked for drink again and for a refill right away. Needless to say no refill brought. So after some time once my primary drink was gone, waved her down again. She clearly saw me, NEVER came to table, Never got another drink. Her lack of care or response was shown in the very SMALL tip given Quite sad as place is nice and food good but.........
Just moved back to the area and decided to check them out, due to how close they are to us. We got there at 6:00 and when we walked in, saw the sign saying to wait to be seated or go to bar . Waited for a bit and noticed that we weren’t given any type of acknowledgment so went up to bar like suggested. Went to bar, bartender told us to chase down the waitress in black and get seated. Finally got seated. Order food. Takes about 40 min to get appetizers. About 20 min later, our kids food shows up. We are told ours should be up shortly. 20 minutes go by, still nothing. We notice that 3 groups who came after us, have already been seated and gotten their food. One table already finished completely. By this time we are a bit frustrated. Waitress checked up on us a total of 2 times, and didn’t come back to us at all, after Kids food was delivered. Had to go back near the kitchen, to wait for our waitress, just to ask for to-go boxes, since it had been taking to long and the kids were getting antsy. When the waitress finally came out with our food, she never once apologized for the wait. She instead gave excuses on how it takes awhile to cook the food . After she left, another lady came over and did a quick apology and took our credit card. Once we got home to eat our food, we were not very impressed. The fish was very heavy and greasy, and the chicken breast was very dry . The coleslaw and bread were honestly the best part of the meal. All in all, just a bad experience. I am normally a very calm and patient person and am willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this honestly was kind of ridiculous.
Water tasted like salt water. Fried chicken was cold in the middle. They brought back to kitchen to refry it and tried to reassure us that the product was precooked so wouldn't make anyone sick. You would think they would offer to take some money off of bill but they did not.
When my father and I got here, there was no one working at the bar. There was about 12-15 people here, none of them had food yet. It took the owner/cook 40 minutes to acknowledge that we were there and told us to wait. We got the food and it did not taste the greatest. The french fries were a bit under cooked and the cheeseburger was cooked unevenly. Other than that, people there were nice and friendly.
