I took my mom here for an early Mother's Day meal. We shared a couple of big pretzels that were amazing. Next up was some wonderful chicken kluski 🍲 soup. Delicious 😋. The waitress was exceptional 😜... friendly, efficient, and one of the better servers I've encountered. You can tell she'd been working here for a while. This is a banquet hall, and I remember coming here for my father-in-law's father's funeral...so it can serve a large group if necessary. On this day, however, I enjoyed some polish sausage and coke slaw. Mom had the steak 🥩 sandwich 🥪, which by the looks of it made me a bit envious. Next time. I loved my lunch, but I definitely want to have some of that steak sandwich 🥪 myself. Outstanding stop for lunch at reasonable prices with a friendly and semi -elegant atmosphere with Milwaukee written all over it. Ahhh...the Cream City! Go Bucks!!!
We have had many large family events at this location and have always had incredible service and a wonderful overall experience. My mom recently passed away, and so when it came to finding a place that could accommodate her celebration of life, Meyer's was an easy selection. The event managers and staff were incredible to work with. Everyone was more than accommodating and made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. The communication leading up to the date of the event, was great. We were notified multiple times to confirm and make sure everything was in place. The food was delicious and wasserved promptly when we had all arrived. The wait staff was simply amazing, and did such an incredible job of taking care of all 80+ guests in the room. I can't thank Meyer Restaurant enough for helping us to celebrate and honor my mother and truly take some of the burden and stress off of our shoulders. It truly means the world to our family. I would highly recommend this location for any and all events, big and small. They truly know how to provide top-notch service.
Worst catering experience ever. An employee we originally talked to and came to an agreement with left the company. What came after was extremely unprofessional and unethical. Got a call 3 months before the wedding attempting to TRIPLE the cost on us. Impossible to get a hold of from there on out. Had to ask for the owner (Frank) using a different name to even get him on the phone. Extremely unprofessional. I demanded a refund and I'm surprised the check didn't bounce. Ended up going somewhere else and we are glad we did. Very unethical business. Trust me, avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache and frustration. Too many other ethical small businesses to be giving money to these hacks. Edit: Do not trust this "business". They will bait and switch you a couple months before your event (in our case, our wedding) leaving you scrambling. This response is a joke and the owner did not do right by us. Trust me, AVOID. Other recent reviews on their catering back up my claim. The owner is attempting to do damage control right now instead of doing the right thing in the past.
Was actually surprised at how good they were. Waitress was so nice and efficient as well. Overall great experience. Had a salmon dish to die for!!!!!
We had a beautiful celebration of life gathering and balloon release for my dad with 50 guests.. The staff was EXCELLENT, HELPFUL AND ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! and the food was very good. Everything was perfect ... Until it wasn't... Issues with bill... Seems they lost the $300.00 deposit that we paid to save the room and date.. So I was charged an EXTRA $300.00 on the day of the Celebration. (not cool) was told... I need to come back next week to show them MY paperwork for proof that I put down the deposit in order to get a reimbursement 🤨 **a deposit was required to hold the room with a saved date, along with the # of people that are expected to come! BUT Other than that ... It was very nice 💗
