I had contacted them to install 2 light fixtures. The appointment was scheduled for 9am, Paul arrived close to noon. Upon his arrival, we discussed the work that would need to be done. One of the fixtures needed the drywall cut open to be installed flush/nicely. I was very clear I wanted the fixture to be flush/looked nice. No proposal or talk of $ before work was performed. Paul found me for payment without discussing that the work performed had deviated from the scope of work we had originally discussed. The stainless steel junction box was left visible; the fixture itself was wobbly and not secure.Felt like it would fall from the ceiling if I changed a light bulb. I had called to ask what happened, he said “he didn’t have the parts with him at that time”. No clear answer why the work was performed if the parts weren’t available or why I wasn’t notified of the situation. Was told “painting it would be easier on everyone” and he’d need to “look to see if he has any parts that might resolve the problem”. After a 20min google search my father (located 100 miles away) was able to determine and locate the parts before Paul was. 0 out of 10 if i could! $250 total bill for 2 light fixtures.
Paul was excellent to work with. We picked up a few outdoor lights at Menards and he installed them flanking our garage door with a very quick turnaround. He had no problems tackling cutting through our brick with his high powered tools that would have been quite the challenge for us to DIY. Prices were great, he communicated well by phone and email. It was all garage work so I was even able to head to work and come home to a well lit driveway!
Paul has done exemplary work for us on many occasions! He has managed to save my husband & I a lot of money by using cost innovative ideas and he has never tried to inflate his pricing once. We did receive multiple quotes for the same work we needed by 3 different electrical contractors and by far Paul’s quote was the least expensive for the exact same work. Thankfully we didn’t fall victim to the $39.95 service call special that was being advertised on TV by another Electrical Contractor. His work is meticulous and he never has left a mess. He is friendly and provides great customer service. We would highly recommend Paul to everyone.

Paul Griffin, owner of North Shore Electric, did all my electrical work when we opened my wellness center, Well Body, in Mequon. He did excellent work and made sure everything was ready for the inspector. There were no issues and we were able to open right on schedule.
