Worst hotel stay EVER! If I could rate no stars I would. The front desk Associate explained that my husband could check in for me but when he got there she was requesting his social security card along with his drivers driver's license, who carries their social security card around on them? Then when he was waiting for me he was bothered by security even though the desk told them he was a guest. The room was in major need of a makeover from top to bottom the chairs were faded and worn out the heater smelt like it was on fire everytime we turned it on. I asked for 2 sheets and security brought one and said that's all they had. This was a king suite, well at least thats how it was advertised. I'm a traveler for my job so I've been to many hotels and this was the biggest waste of my money and believe me I've been to some low level hotels but at least their price usually matches their lack of quality or lack there of. I was very disappointed. I've stayed at Radisson hotels before and I'm even a rewards member but this particular one is definitely an embarrassment to the others.
I ended up getting there a little early before check in time and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and there was a room open and I was able to check in early. She thoroughly went over the amenities like the restaurant, pool hours, even a sheet with recommended restaurants near the hotel. The room was good, my only complaint is the room did not have an alarm clock, which I thought was very strange. Overall a good hotel, the room wasn't anything special, the amazing staff is what made them stand out to me.
The front desk staff were just ok. They explained everything well but were not really big into hospitality. Some hotels have a "WELCOME to our house" hospitality and this is a little more like "You're in MY house." Not into greeting guests or being helpful. The hotel was clean, some of the other staff not behind the desk were pretty friendly. The hotel was fairly clean and maintained. The beds were ok but getting soft. There were three unsupervised children in the pool. Not sure if they belonged to a member of staff or what the deal was with that. No one ever checked on them. We endured over an hour of them running around, screaming, constantly banging each other in the head with pool noodles. The two older kids were hitting the youngest pretty hard and relentlessly. They almost knocked over another families toddler and couldn't care less. Wish anyone would have checked on them. There is a camera in the pool area. No one ever intervened. Staff had to know. I ended up having to parent the random children. There were no pool towels. Went to the front desk for some and they complained that these were the last 4 towels. They didn't consider calling housekeeping. The area is pretty wild at night with packs of youths going through the parking lot at all hours of the night. The Dave and Busters nearby attracts a really sketchy crowd at night. Multiple police cars searching for someone. Kids in the parking lot doing drugs in their car. No one cares. Ok by day but rough area at night. The next day the pool was suddenly closed for the whole day. Retaliation for yelling at the out of control kids not being supervised who may belong to the staff? We will never know.
Great experience at hotel. beer at connecting restaurant is way overpriced. $9 for ipa
Front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful! This is the second time I've been there and still love to staycation there.
