Diner style 100% and it's charming. I was amazed that the place has been around since 1979. I enjoyed the Swedish Meatball lunch, and a side of the corned beef hash. Friends had the Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich on the homemade Kaiser. A delightful experience. Great staff and wonderful service. Easy to find. Thanks for the delicious lunch 😋🍽💜
A good old fashioned diner with about 10 tables and counter service. Excellent home cooked, everything, especially the soups. Super wait staff and at lunch time at least 5-7 people serving, those 10 tables. Prices around 10 bucks for specials and lunch plates. Friendly atmosphere catering to locals in the 50 plus age group.
Small, quaint, folksy diner with decent food quality and portions. You kinda expect the waitstaff to be named Alice or Flo - with an old-school vibe. We enjoyed a later breakfast, including bacon, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, English muffins, and a Philly Omelette. Only enough seating for 40 people, so it might get crowded during peak meal hours.

The Rainbow Restaurant is like walking back in time. And that's a GOOD thing!! Back to a time where things were simpler. No frills at all. Just good food with friendly service. Nothing more. And nothing less. And that is perfect for me.
