Quick service. Delicious food. Plan on going back. Went again this Saturday night. Had the prime rib dinner and my wife had the taco salad plus we shared their homemade banana bread pudding. Again everything was delicious and our waitress Shayna was a blast. We both highly recommend this restaurant. Still fabulous.
We totally ❤ the place. Every thing there was homemade! The French Dip was delicious, also Burgers were humongous ! I'm going back with more people! Can't get the food out of my mind Also an appetizer of Buchetta was the Best I ever had so full of tomatoes and mozzarella Cheese on a loaf of Homemade bread 🍞 totally blew my mind!!! Couldn't eat all of it but Still ordered 1 to go for next day! It was the best Place I ever ❤ ate!!!
Going to start by saying that when my wife and I go out for lunch and dinner we prefer small locally owned restaurants or taverns in the area. However it is becoming more and more that service is going downhill fast. We were greeted promptly and seated to our table swiftly, not knowing that the person who seated us was our waitress. She did not ask for a drink order right away. We proceeded to wait for over five minutes for this, when she finally came back she mumbled some sort of introduction. We gave our drink order then. Another five to seven minutes went by, then put our appetizer and main course order in. In the time that went by my first drink was finished and no check in for another. We received the first of two appetizers from a separate waitress, the second one about 2 minutes later. Ordered water when we received the apps, still did not ask if I would like another drink. About three minutes after the appetizers arrive we got our main course. We are out meals and no contact for rest of the meal. The food was delicious on both parts. In summary of this experience it is getting harder and harder for us to justify going out to eat, services are making it difficult. I have to say that it is not just this establishment it seems to be an all around thing for many.
Stopped in for dinner tonight and they were packed! Server came over right away and took our drink & appetizer order, both came out extremely quick seeing as how they were so busy! Dinner came out pretty quick too. Food was good! Servers Shayna & Dana were AMAZING! We had the boneless wings with Buffalo and homemade firecracker sauce on the side, both were good. The firecracker sauce was sweet and spicy, but not crazy hot! We had the Freaking Fries appetizer as well, a pile of fries with cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions drizzled in ranch. These were ok, the toppings were all piled only in the middle, leaving lots of them plain, but still came out hot & crispy! The chili was very good. The French Onion Soup was delicious, worth going back just for that! The Reuben could have been a tad crispier, but the corned beef was melt in your mouth and the homemade 1000 island was phenomenal! We will be back!
If you are in Elkhorn, Wisconsin and looking for someplace else to eat, I highly recommend the Someplace Else Restaurant. Right in the Historic Downtown adds to the ambience. Nothing fancy, just great food. Nancy had their famous chicken potpie and since it was Friday night in Wisconsin, I had the fried cod dinner. Several large pieces of delicious cod that I should not have finished, but I did!!
