To say disappointed would be an understatement. We received a bid to have our electric panel replaced, service upgraded to 150 amps and to add an interlock and outside generator connection. We were able to get scheduled for the last week of September and told it would take 1.5 days to complete the work. After the two days, the electrician told us the wrong parts were ordered and he was given the parts for 200 amp service. They needed to reorder and come back. Two weeks later they came back and again the wrong parts. Fast forward two weeks and they "complete" the job and automatically invoice against the credit card on file without our permission or approval. The wrong part was again installed after they "closed the job out as complete" and we are unable to use the interlock generator switch. We called to complain, a new tech came out later that week and again had the wrong part. Two weeks later, now in December, they finally have the correct part in and installed it. What was a 1.5 day job turned into 7 visits over the course of 3 months. They charged us in full before the job was correctly completed several weeks later. I emailed the owner and did not receive a response. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because techs were friendly.
Electrician was efficient - got in, got out. Electric dryer is functioning great! We're so glad to have gone from gas to electric, and Walkowiak Electric made it all possible. Scheduling was easy, receptionist was easy to talk to.
Highly recommend Walkowiak Electric! We have worked with them twice now, and both experiences were phenomenal. We worked with James and then Tim, and both were incredibly professional, helpful and kind. James installed a ceiling fan for us quickly, and then Tim installed outlets for us. Amazing work!
The technician, Chris, knew what to do and listened to my concerns. The work was done correctly and neatly. They showed up on time and stayed on schedule. I would use them again. Good experience!
Quote, scheduling, and work were all professional. Cost was competitive with others, not the lowest but they could get me in soonest. The electrician they sent ended up being here all day for the work, whereas dispatch said there were gonna be two electricians for 4 hours of work. The one guy handled it well, but it would been less rushed if the crew of two was there. Work: Residential addition of sub-box and rewiring for code.
