Don't ever use Hasheem's team. We literally asked for one partition to break a large room into two. 5 months have passed and it is still not done. I alerted them that two new providers are waiting to start working here. They keep promising it will be done "in a few weeks" or "this weekend." But they keep extending it. When I call the number on the website, I initially could not get someone to discuss this concern with. I need to get this job done! Also, I tried to call one of the contacts for the job, and they ignored my calls. I then spoof called and they answered right away. Pretty unacceptable.
Our oldest son needed flooring in his bedroom and we were totally happy with the flooring that was put in. We were thinking of using carpet again but the woman we spoke with made it clear that it probably be cheaper and easier to resurface the wood floor that we had an that is what we did. My wife and I are happy that they recommended the wood floor. and we are going to do the whole house this way.
worked with Malico Watson, I wasn't so sure how to get construction done by an external person/company i mean i was so concerned with the cost and reliability, but malico insisted me and my first project goes with him very smoothly and completed within time span, Yeah i know the projects timeline and cost can be increased or fluctuate with circumstances but the way workhorse handle my project definitely recommend them. My Highest recommendation for workhorsegc always enjoyed working with them.
Milwaukee Homeowners Beware - Although I chose to use a different GC I felt compelled to share my experience. As such, I cannot speak to the quality of work completed. Contractor was unresponsive and delivered estimate late after multiple promises to deliver. I was then expected to make a 60% deposit in the next 4 hours or the contract was void. Additionally, I was expected to work directly with a sub-contractor rather than a project manager, whom I never spoke to. I may as well hire the sub-contractor directly since I have to go through them for all communications anyways. Also, the Company uses a calling service to screen calls. If a GC can’t navigate the estimate process, imagine them trying to complete your project. Timeline: 9/30/2020 - Contacted GC via phone to schedule estimate. 9/30/2020 - VP promptly followed up via email requesting more information. 9/30/2020 - Sent additional details/pictures. 10/4/2020 - No response, sent a follow up email to VP. 10/5/2020 - Provided engineering report to Company. Per office admin, the Company sent a contractor to take a look at the project I requested for an estimate. Scheduled “Walkthrough” with PM and/or Contractor. 10/8/2020 - Walkthrough with PM and/or Contractor. No call, arrives 20 minutes late. Turns out only an employee of the Sub-Contractor was sent and didn’t know anything about the project other then address. 10/9/2020 - Spoke to Office Admin about “Walkthrough” experience. Promised quote by end of day OR first thing next day. 10/12/2020 - Promised quote by end of day. 10/13/2020 - No quote received by 8:00 PM, sent follow up email. 10/13/2020 - Quote received shortly after follow-up sent. Highest quote by far of 3 reputable GCs and required 60% down payment due 10/13/2020. Note, this was provided at 8:00 PM, leaving me 4 hours to pay. Reject Proposal
They wanted $425 up front to come out and give a quote since I don't own the property until October. Of course none of that was mentioned when we talked on the phone. Absurd, I've never had any business inspection or otherwise charge that much just to come out . They won't be getting my business. I suggest you avoid.
