Our friends arrived before us and told us to keep on our coats as the heat was out and had been for 3 days. We ordered drinks and they were out of 2 of them. My Irish coffee arrived in a regular coffee cup with no whipped cream. The anti pasta was great. My eggplant was undercooked and cold. They remade it. Our friend's salmon was good. The salad we ordered arrived after the entrees. The lights started flickering near the end of the meal. Likely the restaurant is haunted and causing all these errors. To top everything else off, the waitress inaccurately prepared the checks. Zarletti downtown, where we usually go, is always wonderful. Clearly, we will be sticking with them in the future.
I was here for an event in the upstairs room. The serving staff was INCREDIBLE!! They were both friendly and efficient, responding quickly to every request. I especially liked how things (bread, silverware, butter, condiments, etc) were individually packaged for safety
Where should I begin, well my wife comes from a traditional Italian family and I was introduced to authentic Italian food 30 years ago when we got married. Most of the time we avoid Italian restaurants in cities that do not have a big Italian population. However, a lot of people recommended this place so we gave it a chance. This is the first and probably only time I'll ever review a place after only ONE visit. This place does not serve real Italian food. They are a step above Olive Garden for twice the price. The food is bland with a hint of garlic and oregano. My wife's food had a hint of Italian seasoning. If management, the cooks and/or kitchen manager see this just know that because the seasoning says Italian on it does mean the dish you sprinkle it on magically becomes Italian food. Also throwing some oregano and garlic on your food also will not magically make your food Italian. All this place does is make a mockery of real Italian food. Not to mention the food is also a terrible quality. I was a chef before I retired and it's not hard to tell when some of the food was frozen, some canned and the rest fresh ingredients prepped a few days earlier and left in the walk-in.
We were looking forward to dining here. We walked in and immediately were hit with a blast of cold air. Upon inquiry, we were told that because the mall was open, they couldn’t do anything about it. The door of the restaurant was wide open to the mall and the ceiling fans were on medium to high - perhaps blowing in the wrong direction. Most of the women we observed either left their coats on or left the restaurant in favor of the bar across the hall. We felt the service and food were more than adequate; however if we have the choice of returning or eating somewhere else where they take their customers’ comfort into consideration, we will most likely go elsewhere.
Excellent but very small & limited menu. Appetizers & entries very good.
